Isabel, an architecture student, visits a residence in Tepoztlán, México, as part of her job. During her visit, she is drawn to the hypnotic melody of a music box that leads her to a room full of art objects and travel memories. While exploring the room, Isabel accidentally breaks an ancient mirror, unleashing a series of strange and unsettling events. As she tries to understand what is happening, Isabel discovers that some forces should never be awakened.
